Hillsborough is home to one of the 18 PACE Centers throughout the state of Florida. PACE works with young ladies, ages 11-17, who have been displaced from the traditional school setting and need more individualized attention to help them be successful academically, as well as socially. PACE has a proven history and has helped more than 2,000 girls in the Hillsborough area since 1998. Their annual benefit breakfast, to be held at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City on Thursday, March 20 at 7:30 am, is one of the signature events of the Center to help raise funds in support of the girls of Hillsborough County. For more on PACE and their annual breakfast, tune in to Bayside on Saturday, March 15th.
