2) St. Puppies Day: Does your dog love green beer? Do you and your pooch strangely resemble each other? If you answered yes to these questions, check out the St.Puppies Day BBQ at MacDinton’s SOHO. Guests can enjoy a $20 open bar and grill, enter the owner/doggie look-a-like contest and have the chance to win the title of “Best Dressed Puppy.” Click the link for more info.

3)Irish 31 Paddy Fest: On March 15th and 16th, head to the beautiful Hyde Park Café for a block party that is fun and safe for the Irish of all ages!  Activities will include live music, a St. Patrick look-a-like contest (with a trip to Ireland up for grabs), a corn-hole tournament and, of course, all the Irish food and drinks you could imagine. They will also have a kid zone on Sunday! Click the link for more info.

4) Nolan’s Pub St. Patrick’s Day 5k!: Worried about all of that green beer creating a ‘pot-of-gold’ right around your midsection? Fear no more! Nolan’s Pub will be holding a St. Patrick’s Day 5K Sunday, March 16th for the perfect balance of fun and fitness this weekend! Click the link for more info.

If parades, puppies, parties and 5ks aren’t your pot of gold, keep it simple and check out many of the Tampa Bay area’s local Irish pub/bars!

Whatever you do, be sure to dress the part, have fun and be safe! Don’t drink and drive.
